Aunty Lizzie drops by to say bon voyage ...

Aunty Lizzie has flown down from the sunny north to wish us bon voyage and to look after the three ring circus. Thank you Aunty Lizzie.

What to pack ...

To begin with, we'll need our coat, gloves, hat and scarf. And sturdy walking shoes. There'll be other things too, but not too much. Shopping is right at the top of our list of things to do.

Clean and stylish ...

It sure is hellish hot here today but far away in the Big City it's not so hot. It's actually cooling right down over there. So this afternoon, wearing nothing but a tiny sun dress and slapping sandals, I took my woolly winter coat to the dry cleaner's. One has to look one's best in the Big City. I know, because alycat told me, and she knows a lot about certain expectations in the clothes wearing department, if you want to pass as a stylish native.

Before we take off ...

This time next week alycat and me will be flying east across the huge ocean to the Big City! When we get there something significant will happen to change everything about us.
